and the anchor called...
follow me
tempted I moved to the edge......
familiar territory...
a dark sea foreboding
a calm blue water inviting
the ongoing dichotomy
the Y of my life, my death
floating there, beckoning
I descend, down, into a new realm
above the vague shapes of a past life,
fragments, fading,
in this chosen death I am slave and master
face to face with a past and a beginning..
the easy way out, to jump again...
into the swirling blue of tomorrow,
tomorrow....
